Grant to the League of Red Cross Societies to help support a seminar in the Caribbean region to determine the possibility of youth participation in disaster preparedness and relief programs. Participants at the seminar will prepare new guidelines, “Red Cross Youth in Disaster Relief,” on the integration of youth into national emergency disaster relief programs, work on educational materials for youth on disaster preparedness, and study potential advantages and problems of cooperation with youth organizations in the field of disaster relief.
