Grant to Food for the Hungry International (FHI) to ameliorate the effects of drought in the Province of Pacajes, Department of La Paz, Bolivia, by purchasing 100 handpumps for use in shallow, hand-dug wells. As each well should produce enough to provide 3 families with water for domestic use and for small greenhouse gardens, about 300 families will participate in the well digging, with training and guidance provided by FHI.
