USAID's SPRING Project, Digital Green · 2015

Abstract
It is a joint product of the USAID-funded Strengthening Partnerships, Results, and Innovations in Nutrition Globally (SPRING) project and Digital Green (DG), an international non-governmental organization. The guide provides a comprehensive framework for using community-led videos to improve maternal, infant, and young child nutrition (MIYCN) practices. It outlines the approach, its evidence base, and the steps involved in implementing the community video initiative, including initiation, production, and diffusion of videos, as well as project learning and reporting. The guide is based on the experiences of SPRING and DG in implementing a proof of concept project in India, which demonstrated the feasibility and effectiveness of the approach in promoting MIYCN practices.
