Abstract
It discusses the importance of economic evaluations in nutrition decision-making and presents findings from a costing study of an MNP distribution program in Namutumba district, Uganda. The study compares the costs and cost-efficiency of two delivery platforms: facility-based and community-based distribution. The report highlights the importance of considering both budgetary and opportunity costs, including the time of caregivers and health workers, in evaluating the cost-efficiency of MNP distribution programs.
