Abstract
It assesses the impact of permagardens, a type of climate-resilient agriculture, on food security, income, and resilience in Karamoja, Uganda. The report presents the results of a study that evaluated the effectiveness of permagardens in improving household food security, income, and resilience to climate-related shocks and stresses. The study found that permagardens have provided households with food security benefits, income, and savings, enabling them to better cope with climate shocks and stresses. The report also highlights the permagardens' ability to smooth consumption during the annual hunger season and increase the number of food types being consumed on a regular basis.
