Cost of Diet Study in Turkana County, Kenya

The study was funded by USAID and implemented by a consortium of partners led by Mercy Corps. The report provides an overview of the study's objectives, methodology, and findings, including the cost of a nutritious diet for an average family in each zone. The study found that families can meet their nutritional needs with foods available in the markets, but the cost of a nutritious diet is still a significant burden for many households, particularly the very poor and poor.
