Costing Study: Management of Moderate Wasting Using Local Foods in Northeast Nigeria

It is a study conducted by USAID Advancing Nutrition to assess the cost-effectiveness of two approaches to managing moderate wasting in children in North East Nigeria: Tom Brown and Porridge Mum. The study estimates the institutional and societal costs of each approach, including costs of supplementation, community mobilization, supply chain management, training, supervision, and management. The report provides an overview of the study's methodology, results, and conclusions, including a summary of the costs per child or beneficiary enrolled in each program.
