Abstract
The presentation discusses the importance of engaging family members in maternal and child nutrition interventions in low- and middle-income countries. It reviews two studies, a scoping review and a mixed-methods review, that explore the effectiveness of interventions that engage family members in improving maternal and child nutrition outcomes. The presentation highlights the search strategy and criteria used in the reviews, as well as examples of interventions that have successfully engaged family members, including community mobilization, community groups, home visits, and mHealth initiatives.
