Abstract
The study follows a longitudinal cohort of infants from birth to 1 year of age in Lower and Upper Egypt, examining growth patterns and factors related to early growth. The findings highlight the importance of addressing both stunting and overweight in infant and young child nutrition programs, particularly in countries undergoing the nutrition transition.
