Abstract
It is a collaborative effort between the Government of Haiti, USAID, and other stakeholders to estimate the benefits of improved nutrition in Haiti. The report provides an overview of the nutrition challenges facing Haiti, including high rates of malnutrition among children and women, and discusses the economic benefits of investing in nutrition. It also presents estimates generated using the PROFILES tool, which projects the benefits of improved nutrition in terms of reduced child and maternal mortality and increased economic productivity. The report aims to inform high-level decision-makers and stakeholders in Haiti about the importance of investing in nutrition to improve the health, well-being, and productivity of the Haitian population.
