Introduction and Toolkit Framework

The toolkit is divided into three main folders: Core Toolkit, Key Implementation Resources, and References. The Core Toolkit provides essential documents for planning an IYCF-E program, including an overview of IYCF-E, determining the need for intervention, program planning, caseload and supply needs, staff orientation and training, proposal development, monitoring and reporting, policy, and coordination and communications. The Key Implementation Resources folder contains practical tools and resources for implementing IYCF-E programs, including assessment tools, activity guides, and caregiver-baby assessments. The References folder contains additional resources and guidelines for IYCF-E programming.
