IYCF-COVID-19 Recommended Practices Booklet

It provides guidance for healthcare providers and counsellors on how to support mothers in feeding their infants and young children during the COVID-19 pandemic. The booklet covers topics such as breastfeeding, expressing breast milk, and safely preparing and feeding infant formula, as well as precautions to take to prevent the spread of COVID-19. It also emphasizes the importance of continued breastfeeding and provides guidance on how to maintain milk production and express breast milk safely. Additionally, it provides information on how to store and feed expressed breast milk, and how to safely mix and feed infant formula if necessary.
