Abstract
The module provides an overview of nutrition support, including the definition and importance of nutrition support, nutrition conditions covered in the module (such as stunting, wasting, and micronutrient deficiencies), and nutrition-specific and nutrition-sensitive interventions. The guide also covers the management of moderate acute malnutrition (MAM) and severe acute malnutrition (SAM), including the use of specialized food products such as ready-to-use supplementary food (RUSF) and fortified blended food (FBF). The document is intended for healthcare providers and program managers working in nutrition support programs.
