Abstract
It is a comprehensive resource for partners implementing the Resilience Food Security Activity (RFSA) funded by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID). The guide aims to provide tools, resources, and instructions on how to optimize the use of local foods to improve nutrition and dietary diversity for women and children in program areas. It consists of seven parts, including an overview, a local food diet optimization tool, instruction manuals, and exercise books for household and market pathways. The guide is designed to help program implementers identify nutrient-rich local foods, promote their production and consumption, and develop business models for fortified complementary foods.
