Abstract

It provides a comprehensive guide for social and behavior change (SBC) managers on how to create high-quality illustrations for health communication visual materials using the photo-to-illustration (PTI) process. The guide covers the importance of high-quality visual images, the purpose and context of the guide, and a step-by-step process for creating illustrations, including concept development, photography, illustration, editing, testing, and adaptation. Additionally, it provides resources for SBC managers, including tips on budgeting, working with artists, and incorporating the PTI process into their programs.
