Abstract
The exercise aimed to assess the capacities, gaps, and opportunities for strengthening multi-sectoral nutrition coordination in the county. The report provides an overview of the nutrition policy environment in Kenya, the triple burden of malnutrition, and the importance of multi-sectoral coordination in addressing malnutrition. It also presents the methodology, findings, and conclusions of the mapping exercise, including the presence and functionality of sectoral and multi-sectoral coordination mechanisms, motivators and bottlenecks, and capacity gaps for effective coordination.
