2016

Abstract
It provides a comprehensive framework for analyzing the policy environment, availability and access to health, nutrition, and economic strengthening/livelihoods and food security (ES/L/FS) services, community networks and cultural beliefs, market actors and private-sector players, and gender. The guide is divided into three components: preparation and design, execution, and analysis of results. It offers practical tools and tips for conducting an SA, including questionnaires, and is intended to be adapted to different contexts and needs. The ultimate goal of the SA is to inform the design of livelihood programs that address the needs of people living with HIV/AIDS, orphans and vulnerable children, and their caregivers.
