Abstract
The report summarizes the current evidence on the transmission of SARS-CoV-2 through breast milk and breastfeeding, highlighting that there is no evidence of infective SARS-CoV-2 in human milk and that the benefits of breastfeeding substantially outweigh the risks of infection. The report also provides key messages and recommendations for breastfeeding and infant care during the COVID-19 pandemic.
