USAID Advancing Nutrition Uganda: Strengthening Efforts to Reduce Micronutrient Deficiencies (2023)

The project, which ran from June 2021 to September 2023, used a multi-sectoral approach to support the Government of Uganda in implementing Large-Scale Food Fortification (LSFF) interventions. The brochure highlights the project's achievements, including increasing the public sector's capacity to enforce food fortification regulations, increasing the private sector's capacity to comply with food fortification regulations, strengthening partnerships and stakeholder coordination, and promoting awareness of fortified foods through a targeted approach.
