Abstract
It is a product of the USAID Promoting Nutrition project, a multi-sectoral nutrition project that aims to address the root causes of malnutrition. The guide is based on systematic reviews of literature on social norms related to infant feeding and women's diets, as well as materials developed by the Passages Project and the Social Norms Learning Collaborative. It also draws on experiences and contributions from USAID activities in Burkina Faso and Niger. The guide provides practical tools and approaches for program managers to improve nutrition outcomes by addressing social norms.
