Abstract

It summarizes the findings and lessons learned from the analysis of acute malnutrition (AM) hotspot clusters and seasonality trends in the two counties. The analysis was based on available nutrition data from 2010 to 2020 and involved a systematic review of two secondary data sets. The brief highlights the most vulnerable sub-counties and wards, and provides recommendations for prioritizing interventions. It also identifies limitations in existing nutrition data, including the need for a more comprehensive analysis of the seasonality of acute malnutrition.
