Abstract
The study, conducted by USAID Advancing Nutrition, analyzed secondary data from a cross-sectional survey of 1,359 women in three regions of the country. The results show that promoting do-able actions to increase access to a variety of healthy foods and improving knowledge and awareness of better nutrition practices can improve women's diets. The study identifies key determinants of women's dietary diversity, including fall storage and food preservation, and highlights the importance of seasonality, market accessibility, and individual knowledge and preferences in influencing maternal dietary intake.
