Abstract
The new database was developed using off-the-shelf MS Access software, and offers a user-friendly interface for processing, analyzing, and disseminating project data. Virtually all of ADMADE"s monitoring data are processed with this system, which is being used by field teams, as well as at the project training center, national parks headquarters, and the USAID mission. Application features include built-in object documentation and filtering, relational data structure, interactive maps created with Environmental Systems Research Institute (ESRI) MapObjects, behind the scenes data logging, a user-friendly interface, expandable menu system, interactive charts, and replication for automated multi-user synchronization.
