ADS chapter 540 : USAID development experience information

This chapter establishes the policy directives and required procedures for maintaining USAID"s development experience and contributing to the Agency"s knowledge management efforts by: (1) preserving and promoting knowledge of the Agency"s performance, results, lessons learned, and experiences in development activities throughout the world; (b) ensuring that the Agency has access to its own development experience and that of other international development organizations for use in planning, implementing, and evaluating the Agency"s programs and activities; and (c) strengthening the Agency"s use of development experience in its strategic planning, program implementation, performance measurements, and evaluations.
