Abstract
The project operates in six provinces and twenty-six districts, expanding its scope of activities from the previous project, AgLinks Uzbekistan. The project focuses on building and enhancing the competitiveness of strategic value chains, including table grapes, stone and pome fruits, sub-tropical fruits, and nuts. The project has achieved significant qualitative and quantitative results, impacting the livelihoods and sustainability of clients, including fruit tree nursery firms, farm enterprises, consolidators, processors, exporters, agri-firms, cold store operators, and personnel of various government institutions. Nine out of ten indicators of the Performance and Monitoring Evaluation (PMEP) were met, with most exceeding expectations. The project's FY 2013 Annual Report documents progress against the ALP FY 2013 Work Plan and the PMEP. The report highlights the project's achievements, including the expansion of its scope of activities, the increase in the number of provinces and districts served, and the improvement in the competitiveness of strategic value chains.
