Agricultural market support loan

Project to provide, through the Government of Zaire, foreign exchange to private sector agricultural marketing agents who will in turn purchase equipment and supplies (including trucks, spare parts, and storage, handling, and processing equipment) needed to market and distribute rural-grown foodstuffs in urban areas.

Abstract

The project will aid the recovery of Zaire"s agricultural sector and reduce dependence on imported food.
