Abstract
This report, based on the results of an agricultural practices and crop budget survey in VGC/A impact areas, draws conclusions about the comparative advantage of the production of specific commodities (apples, citrus fruits, mangoes, vegetables, vegetable seed, forest products) in specific agro-ecological locations (remote high hills, high hills, mid- hills, river valleys, and inner terai). The impact of the VGC/A on women in the Rapti Zone is also discussed. (Author abstract, modified)
