Project to study the micro-economic aspects of LDC export incentives.
1973

Abstract
Specifically, the study will investigate the reaction of individual firms and industries to various export incentive measures. Efforts will be made to determine the types of incentives necessary to elicit appropriate reaction and whether the observed reactions are similar to those predicted by traditional macro-economic analysis. The University of Michigan will conduct the study, which will be based mainly on a questionnaire survey of a selected number of firms in the export sector in a sample country.
