480 Title II urban Food-for-Work (FFW) program in Bolivia. The training will be available to both women and men and is aimed at helping FFW workers move from temporary to permanent employment, including the establishment of their own businesses. Under the program, approximately 250 FFW workers, broken down into groups of 8, will be trained in 4 program areas: empowerment, early childhood education, health and family planning, and business skills. Where men and women are in the same work group, training will be provided in personal decision making and life skills which require mutual cooperation, such as child rearing and family planning. Finally, simple day care services for small children will be provided at the 8 training sites. The Adventist Development Relief Agency (ADRA) will assist in program implementation.
