Grant is provided under the PVO Co-Financing Project in the Dominican Republic to Fundacion Dominicana de Desarrollo (FDD) to offer training opportunities, mostly in business management, to microentrepreneurs, artisans, and small farmers in 22 provinces and the national district.

Abstract
FDD will develop training modules covering: the socioeconomic framework for small business; group structure and dynamics; business management; production techniques; ecology and environment; and training of trainers. The training will be provided in cooperation with farmer associations and solidarity groups, through short courses, workshops, seminars, study circles, etc. Some 9,000 urban and rural microproducers will directly benefit over a 4-year period.
