AID grant no. AID/PHA-G-1084 to Coordination in Development, Inc. (CODEL) to support the growth of major functions of the organization

(CODEL), a consortium of about 50 church-related organizations, to strengthen its capacity to design, manage, and evaluate development projects. The grant will (1) strengthen CODEL staff, who will in turn train staff of CODEL member organizations; (2) fund as much as 40% of the cost of up to 25 demonstration projects in agriculture, food production and processing, health, nutrition, family planning, human resource development, small enterprises, and community development (these projects will provide concrete opportunities for training member organization staff); and (3) enable CODEL to offer project/proposal evaluation services to other donor agencies such as U.S. foundations.
