Commmodity import loan to the Government of Egypt for equipment and materials to support industrial and agricultural production.

Abstract

Specifically, the loan will be used to import: fertilizer for high-yielding varieties of wheat and maize; spare parts for tractors, irrigation pumps, and instruments to allow adequate preparation and cultivation of irrigated land; plant protection chemicals such as pesticides and insecticides to increase crop yields; and various types of agricultural equipment to increase agricultural productivity.
