Abstract
Also to be included are useful lessons learned from the mission"s programming to date. The results of this exercise will be coupled with those from other strategy-related assessments being undertaken by the mission in order to inform the design of its new development strategy. This assessment addresses four key question-sets enunciated in the SOW: (1) What is the formulation and implementation status of key legislation across various Iraq sectors? (2) What are GOI future development priorities? What is the status of the National Development Strategy (NDS) implementation? (3) What current USAID/Iraq programs blend well with GOI priorities and where are there gaps? (4) What are the recommendations for USAID/Iraq future programming based on the findings and lessons learned from the assessment? (Author abstract, modified)
