Bolivia : economic support fund
Economic Support Fund program for FY87 consists of a cash grant to provide balance of payments support to the Government of Bolivia"s (GOB) economic reactivation efforts.

Abstract
Grant funds will finance private sector imports of U.S. machinery and equipment, spare parts, and raw materials; they may also be used to finance official (public) debt servicing to the United States and international finance organizations. Local currency generations will finance counterpart to A.I.D. and multi-lateral development bank projects. Of the program total of $14.66 million, $7.160 million may be obligated immediately, the rest only upon determination that the GOB has met narcotics-related provisions of the International Security and Development Assistance act of 1985.
