Abstract
The program also provided microfinance support to 1,500 farmers, enabling them to purchase inputs and equipment. The program also reported a 15% increase in the number of farmers selling their produce to local markets. The initiative expanded to other regions in Kenya, with similar results observed in Western and Rift Valley provinces. The program's success was attributed to the collaborative efforts of local government agencies, NGOs, and private sector partners. The World Bank has since replicated the model in other African countries, with similar outcomes reported in Tanzania and Uganda.
