Abstract
According to this law, all teachers have the responsibility to identify support needs and apply reasonable adjustments as needed. They are also expected to promote respect for diversity. All students, regardless of their background, have the right to participate in educational activities, learn, be valued, and receive support. They also have the right to interact with their peers in school and within their community. Furthermore, all students have the duty to comply with rules and agreements, respect all individuals, and contribute to creating an inclusive and welcoming school environment. Teachers have the right to receive training and support from other teachers and families to address diversity in the classroom. They also have the right to receive support from others to respond to the needs of their students. All students, regardless of their background, have the duty to respect all individuals and contribute to creating an inclusive and welcoming school environment. Families have the right to participate in school life, be heard and respected, and receive timely information. They also have the right to be informed about their children's progress and well-being. Families have the duty to enroll their children in an educational institution, collaborate with the teaching-learning process, and promote their children's socio-educational inclusion. The implementation of the Ley Nº 5136/13 aims to ensure that all students have equal opportunities to learn and participate in educational activities. By promoting respect for diversity and inclusivity, schools can create a welcoming environment that values and supports all students, regardless of their background. This approach is essential for ensuring that all students can reach their full potential and succeed academically.
