Development assistance programs for Yemen

organizations to provide development assistance and material aid to the people of Yemen are described in this report. Of the nine organizations, six have provided TAICH with financial data indicating program expenditures in 1979 totaling $2,590,815. These figures should be viewed more as indicators than as exact sums; differences in fiscal year, methods of financial reporting, and methods of estimating dollar values of commodities, equipment, and material shipped make correlation and absolute accuracy impossible.
