Project component to upgrade agricultural planning and administration in Uruguay.

Abstract

Activities will focus on the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock"s Office of Agricultural Programming and Policy, and Office of Planning and Budget and will include: (1) collection and analysis of statistics needed for agriculture sector management; (2) dissemination of information and publication of studies conducted by other institutions involved in the agriculture sector; (3) development and testing of economic models for agricultural planning; and (4) TA and training.
