Abstract
Farmers in these areas struggled to access markets, resulting in low prices for their produce. This made it difficult for farmers to make a living, leading to a decline in agricultural productivity. The training programs focused on teaching farmers sustainable practices such as composting and crop rotation. This suggests that women were more receptive to the training and were able to implement the new practices effectively. This increase in income was largely due to the increase in crop yields and the increased income from selling produce.
