Abstract
The Caribbean Conservation Association (CCA) will prepare environmental profiles for St. Kitts and Nevis, Dominica, Antigua and Barbuda, and St. Vincent and the Grenadines. (A profile has already been prepared for St. Lucia and one for Grenada is underway.) Major issues to be treated in the profiles include: economic development, environmental policies and institutions, land use planning, environmental health, water resources, agriculture, forestry and wildlife, coastal and marine resources, biological diversity, tourism, and systematic issues such as growth rates, carrying capacity, etc. A subgrantee, the Island Resources Foundation, will provide technical guidance in the profiling process.
