Abstract
The primary objective is to engage communities in an inclusive approach to identify and implement projects that address their specific needs. The beneficiaries of this initiative are primarily communities in need of enhanced service delivery and conflict mitigation. Objective 1, which is to be achieved within four years, aims to establish a framework for inclusive community engagement. The first quarter of year four (Y4Q1) marks a critical milestone in this process. Several challenges hinder the successful implementation of this initiative. These challenges include limited community participation, inadequate resources, and conflicting priorities among stakeholders. To overcome these obstacles, a comprehensive approach is necessary, involving the active engagement of community members, local authorities, and other relevant stakeholders. Looking forward, the initiative aims to establish a sustainable model for community-led service delivery and conflict mitigation. This will involve the development of a community-driven project identification and implementation process, as well as the establishment of a framework for ongoing community engagement and participation. By empowering communities to take ownership of their development, the initiative seeks to enhance outcomes and promote more effective and sustainable service delivery.
