Abstract
PES, consisting of a facesheet, covers the period 8/83-11/85 and is attached to a mid-term evaluation (XD-BBA-585-A). Action decisions are that the Cooperative League of the U.S.A. (CLUSA): (1) investigate the feasibility of marketing coffee and cocoa produced by cooperatives, establishing cooperative stores, purchasing or repairing selected production inputs, and developing income generating activities (e.g., vegetable production); (2) negotiate to place a Peace Corps administrator on the CLUSA TA team; and (3) revise the development plan on the basis of available options (primarily in regard to 1 and 2 above) and calculate the time and funding needed for each activity. The Mission should amend the cooperative agreement to modify the financial plan for certain line items.
