Abstract
About 8509 farm families in Ghana, Togo, and Niger participated in the project, which included on-farm trials of various packages including various phosphate materials. This report describes the findings of the SFRP during the period 1988-91. It consists of a main report and a number of technical reports provided as appendices. The main report outlines the physical and socioeconomic environment of the study zones; the results and conclusions of the agronomic, agroeconomic, and socioeconomic studies; and other essential outputs of the project. The technical reports provide details of the methodologies used in data collection and analyses for the various studies and the results obtained. (Author abstract, modified)
