Final report : Osijek, Croatia feeding program

From 1/15/95 to 6/15/95, the Brother"s Brother Foundation (BBF) and the Lutheran World Federation (LWF) implemented the feeding program which distributed 65,600 meals and 16,400 portions of bread from four centers located in Osijek, where need was the greatest. Meals were supplied by a local caterer and transported by an LWF truck to the distribution centers. The issuance of a State Department"s travel advisory led to the cancellation of the BBF President"s trip to Croatia to evaluate the project. However, funds allocated for travel were reallocated for the supply of meals, making it possible to extend the program beyond the original 17 weeks.
