Abstract
With the Ghana National Malaria Control Program, the Procurement and Supply Directorate (Drug Policy Unit, Procurement Unit, and Central Medical Stores), and the Food & Drugs Board, they confirmed gaps and identified issues during the January 2007 Presidents Malaria Initiative (PMI) assessment. The aim of the activity was to develop a joint 2008 implementation plan for the two PMI implementing partners and to support the strengthening of the supply chain management of antimalarials and some aspects of (ITNs in Ghana. Possible activities were also listed for 2009 and 2010 to follow the activities of 2008 and to fill gaps that impact commodity availability. (Author abstract, modified)
