Abstract
AUC, a nonprofit organization founded in 1919 by private Americans, conducts undergraduate and graduate educational programs in the American tradition, and provides continuing education for adults in English, business administration, and computer sciences. Amendment of 7/19/88 provides funds to construct a student dormitory and faculty housing facilities. The grant will also provide monies to pay the salaries of non-Egyptian faculty and staff. (PD-FBP-197) Follow-on grant of 9/8/92 provides funding to enable AUC to: procure equipment for a computer-based resource center; renovate existing facilities to provide additional classroom space; and upgrade the library"s computer facilities.
