Abstract
The grant was funded by the CSP-TO4-20-006 grant, with a start date of July 30, 2021. The reporting period spanned from April 22, 2021, to July 22, 2021, with the report submitted on September 8, 2021. During this period, all 44 students received financial assistance, including covered tuition fees and monthly stipends. The students completed all required courses for their specialties. Weekly attendance reports were collected and submitted. Due to the absence of final exams, the students received intensive classes to prepare for the official exams. Monthly stipends for the three-month period were distributed, and signed receipts were submitted. The project activities met the established timeline. Key achievements included regular online course attendance, intensive classes for official exams, and ongoing monitoring of students' academic standing. All students remained eligible for the scholarship. Challenges arose due to the students' perceived lack of preparedness for the official exams after a year of online teaching. Tamkeen addressed this issue by transitioning to intensive physical classes, resulting in improved student engagement and attendance. The intensive physical classes were implemented to address the students' concerns about their preparedness for the official exams. This decision led to increased student interaction with teachers and improved attendance. The success of this approach will be evaluated through the students' performance in the official exams. The next reporting period will focus on the completion of internships, exam results, internship reports, and email updates to the CSP team. The Tamkeen Vocational Institute will provide progress reports, copies of exam results, internship reports, and signed receipts of stipends from each student.
