Abstract
This report, the fourth in a series examining the role of diasporas in development policy, examines how nostalgia trade and heritage tourism can involve diaspora populations in transactions that ease the integration of their homeland economies into an increasingly connected global economy, while also helping diasporas to maintain their ties to their countries of origin or ancestry.
