Housing guaranty project

Evaluation covers the period 7/79-8/80 and is based on an attached special evaluation (PN-AAJ-349). The survey, which was undertaken to provide a basis for a follow-up project, HG-002, showed that loans were genuinely used for their intended purpose, but that 17 of the 120 recipients had received prior loans under the 1977 HG. The Ministry of Housing and Cooperatives (MCH) attributes this to double recording and claims that no individual, in fact, received more than one loan. To help clear the record, MCH will provide a new schedule on the current HG.
