Sign inPARKE, DAVIS, AND CO.
Reports on an ongoing research project to modify tissue culture cells so that they can better support the multiplication of Plasmodium falciparum, a malaria causal agent.
1970

Abstract
The tissue culture chosen was obtained from the Vero line of African Green Monkey kidney cells. It is hoped that results obtained with Vero cell cultures will be useful in further studies on vaccine substrate tissue culture cells. This report includes a background summary of prior experiments, a list of accomplishments for the report period (January 1-June 30, 1978), micrographs and tables displaying laboratory results, and material concerning specific research contract requirements and budget information.
